A mission statement is a short statement about why a company exists. It should describe what your company does. The mission statement describes an organization’s purpose.
When creating your mission statement ask:
- What is our purpose?
- Why do we exist?
- What do we do? And who do we do it for?
- What would happen if we did not do this?
- Why is it special to work here?
Don’t overcomplicate it. Use simple, clear, memorable language.
